Bachelorette season 11 premier

The bachelorette seasom premier was Monday May 18th and the second night premiered the 19th!!! The first night was when Britt and Kaitlyn came to the mansion ready to meet all the guys that were to vote for which girl they wanted to be the bachelorette.

There were many stand outs; a guy that drove in, in a cupcake.. Yeah a cupcake, a guy thatcame in, in a hot tub car, the guys that actually welded a rose for Kaitlyn, a guy that drew a drawing of Chris Harrison, and a guy that was waaaaaay too drunk and got sent home before anything happened, The Bachelorette cupcake car guy png Unknown-12 images-3

and at the beginning of second night it was announced that Kaitlyn will be the bachelorette for the season and Britt was sent home in tears, saying that she wished she didn’t meet any of the guys so that she would see what she’s missing out on. And as for the rest of the night Kaitlyn really hit it off with the guy that came in on a cupcake and they shared a kissed, and she gave the first impression rose to Shawn a guy that they had strong connection right off the bat and they shared a quite passionate kiss too.

And something crazy that happened was that a guys interuppted Kaitlyn DURING the rose ceremony and asked to speak to her , most guys thought he just wanted more time with her, when he just wanted to let her know that he came to the show for Britt and he didn’t want to waste her time.

DWTS landmark season 20 finale

Monday May 18th the competitors danced a repeat of a dance they danced throughout the season and a new freestyle. Rumer and Val and Riker and Allison finished the night with a perfect 80 and just 8 points behind them was Noah and Sharna. Usually the second night of the finals (May 19th) one star gets voted on Twitter by the fans (with the hastag of the competitor and the word freestyle after: #RIkerFreestyle, #RumerFreestyle, #NoahFreestyle) to see which freestyle they want to see again and the star that got the repeat was; Riker Lynch!! And what a great freestyle it was too!! Check out the link below:

All the previous stars from the season danced again, even last seasons winner Alfonso Riberio danced with the runner up from last season Sadie Robertson!! And there was also an announcement made that night; Tom Bergeron is retiring from being America’s Funniest Home Video host!! And passing the reigns to Alfonso Ribeiro!! So great to see him doing something again, he’ll be great at it!!! And Noah Galloway the Veteran/Model dancing with last seasons one to watch; Amy Purdy, paraolimpic snowboarder, both beautiful dancers and both have amputations danced together!!!

Also, Derek Hough and Julianne Hough danced together with 2 very talented young dancers dancing to Sia singing Elastic Heart!!!

Alright after all this craziness, the three finalists danced their 24 hour fusion dance. after the first night each team gets two dance styles and a song to choreograph and perform for the next night!! And all teams did amazingly!!! Okay now for what you’ve all been waiting for; the winner of Dancing With The Stars landmark season 20, year 10 is Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy!!! Congrats to them!!!

Nicki Minaj, possibly engaged?

About a month ago Nicki Minaj tweeted a few criptic emojis; a diamond ring, a heart and a diamond, and beside that writing “I’ll post is later”, obviously keeping us in suspence and interested. Later tha tday she posted a picture of a huge dimond ring on her ring finger which brout up many rumours that she is engaged to her now boyfriend Meek Mill.

After these two posts fans got more and more suspisious, and Nicki kept feeding us with more!! She posted a picture of herself and Meek Mill, with the same ring, on THAT FINGER!! C’mon Nicki you cant do that and expect us not to think these things!! And that wasn’t even it!! She posted probably the more adorable thing ever, a picture of texts between her and her boyfriend; the texts were a cute picture of her and a message attached that said “the way i looked at you last night” and then a hliariously adorable picture of him with the message “how I look at you sometimes.

And it didn’t just end there (no this isnt dragging on it gets better I promise), during weekend two of coachella, Nicki Minaj joined Drake’s performace, and it was amazing!! While Drake was on stage during weekend 2 of Coachella he called her out while she was on stage next to him saying “The love of my life, I love this girl right here, we family forever. Congratulations and all that” as he walked accross the stage to give his long-time friend a hug! We don’t know what the congrats was for but we’re all hoping it was about the engagement because im still swooning over the adorable couple. New Couple- Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris

Taylor Swift is known to have had countless of relationships, none of which had worked out. But did she finally find someone to settle down with?

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are now officially a couple! They look super cute together and are definitely in it for the long run. “[Calvin] is trying hard to make the relationship work,” a source close to the pair tells HollywoodLife.com. The couple is ready for a serious relationship and want a future together.

The new couple has been hanging out a lot to strengthen their relationship. They have been seen going to each other’s concerts, shopping, and getting a bite to eat. According to mirror.co.uk, “They are apparently writing songs together, as they are ‘slowly becoming each other’s muses'”.

We hope Taylor has finally found her perfect love match and that their relationship will continue to grow strong.

CAMH Darkness to Light

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s leading hospital for mental wellness. The staff work towards a main goal: to ensure the overall recovery of individuals suffering from addictions and/or mental illnesses, through the daily research, clinical care and support that they offer.

Along with these regular procedures, the CAMH holds annual events to raise money and awareness for their hospital, including the CAMH Darkness to Light event, in which anyone can participate. You simply gather with others at night time and stay up, as a symbol of being awake for anyone with mental illnesses. Nighttime can often be a scary and sickening time for them, especially without the support of close family and friends, who are needed around for their wellness. Hence, the purpose of staying up is to show your support for anyone who needs a little love and light to their darkness.

This year, the event will take place on Friday, May 29, beginning from the dark hours of the night to sunrise. At sunrise, you can then take a #SunriseSelfie and share it on Twitter, Instagram, etc. Begin today by signing up and making donations for the cause. A small and simple action still has the power to go a long way. Do not hesitate to donate today.

Sexual Violence Awareness- New Harvard Study

Sexual violence is a problem going on all around the world. Sexual awareness is very important for everyone to learn about in order to help stop it. A new Harvard Study found that 36% of Women Have Been Affected by Sexual Violence.

According to Cosmopolitan.com, “Researchers polled more than 2,000 18–29 year olds and found that 36 percent of women have had a personal experience with sexual assault, either directly or through a close friend or family member. Of the women polled, 11 percent had been victimized themselves. If you extrapolate the data to our country’s entire population, says student poll chair Ellen Robo, ‘that’s roughly four million women who have been victimized by sexual assault.'”

These stats were gathered between March 18 and April 1 in 2015. Sexual violence has to stop and we must continue to share awareness because without it, this problem will continue.

Rebel Wilson is not actually Rebel Wilson…

Who is Rebel Wilson? She is one of our most favorite people in the universe, and this article, Woman’s Day is NOT going to change that fact. Rebel seems to have been caught in a big fat lie. She has claimed to be a 29 year old woman who grew up in the “ghetto” part of Sydney, Australia. Which is what we have known her for, but also for her charismatic sense of humor.

She has said that she “spent a year in Zimbabwe; climbed a cage with a leopard, got caught in shoot-out and then struck down by a severe strain of Malaria from a mozzie in Mozambique where, from her ICU bed, she envisioned herself winning an Oscar and rapping her acceptance speech.”

Sources tell us that none of these things are true. Her real name is Melanie Elizabeth Bownds, she’s 35 who grew up in the upper middle class. She went to the Tara Angelican School for girls in North Parramatta, Sydney, and graduated in 1997. I have to agree, this is quite the story but I believe that Rebel probably has a reason for these stories

After this came up, she responded with a hilarious tweet (another reason why we love her.)

The crazy part is that none of her classmates remember her being funny! “She’s clearly got a vivid imagination,” laughs our source. “Maybe you have to tell stories to make it in Hollywood!” IMPOSSIBLE! Rebel Wilson is HILARIOUS! Even if the story isn’t true, we still are Rebel’s fans. It’s kind of true; personally I believe that you need more than talent to make it into Hollywood. After the truth came out, Rebel confirmed her age, which can be proved on IMBD. She just wants to make people laugh, that’s not a bad thing at all.

The Future Is Here- Real Hoverboard

For how long have you been waiting for a cool invention? Well we’re getting really close to an invention that we all read about in books and and saw in movies!

At Future Is Here festival, the first demo of a real working hoverboard was presented!

The video of this cool, real-life hoverboard was filmed and put on YouTube to show the public the demonstration. According to KiSS 92.5, “The board uses about 40 watts of power per 2.2 pounds of weight to create a magnetic field between the board and a conductive surface to create a real hover effect.”

This invention was probably a very tough thing to come up with, lets hope it actually goes on the market!

Fox News Versus Feminists

Feminism exists today for the hopes of having a break from the patriarchy we are currently living in. For years, women have been given the back seat in our societal structure, being put last for almost everything. It is a fact that to this day, even though women are able to pursue educations, obtain jobs, and have careers, they are still not treated as complete equals. It is also not news that women receive less pay for the same amount of work on average than men do.

Fox News took the initiative to do a debate on the societal gap between males and females, pitting Tamara Holder against guest Gavin McInnes. Holder states that she was “literally shaking” from the comments that McInnes left. He said that, “Women do earn less in America because they choose to. They would rather go to their daughter’s piano recital than stay up all night working on a proposal- so they end up earning less.” Tamara Holder was simply appalled by the opposition’s arguments throughout this entire debate, saying that women are happier at home, where they belong.

People from all over the world burst with comments to add to the overall controversy surrounding this debate. It sure got a whole lot of attention from all kinds of people. Some agree with McInnes; others say his arguments rooted from pure ignorance. Though I do not side with him, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. To watch the debate, follow the link below.

Child Abduction Experiment

I know this isn’t normally what I talk about but this next video is pretty serious and I thought it needed to be shared. How prudent do you think your kid is? Good parents teach their children to beware of strangers; do NOT talk to strangers most importantly do NOT walk away with stranger. They are also taught so at school. I know I was, every time a stranger persistently tries to talk to me, I loudly yell out STRANGER DANGER.

Anyways, YouTuber Joey Salads went to the park and asked moms if he could test their kids. In the video, every child he talked to took his hand and walked away with him. The mothers were shocked because, their kids didn’t hesitate to go with the stranger just because he had a cute puppy. I would think that teachers and schools reinforced this topic. They should, because I learn from this video is that kids are not well enough educated about the dangers of strangers. I cannot stress those words enough.
